| Sunless
tanning products make it possible to get a natural tanning just like
you would get if you stayed under the sun. To get this beautiful effect,
we have created an actual beauty treatment which prepares and moisturizes
the skin on the one hand, and which ensures that the product can be
uniformly applied on the other hand. HOW DOES THE SUNLESS TANNING TREATMENT WORK ? It is a little magic molecule, the D.H.A (dihydroxyacetone), which gives this lasting artificial tan. It reacts with some aminoacids in the top layer of the skin and become oxidized when in contact with air. The tanning of the skin is thus totally artificial and without any danger. Furthermore, the extremely efficient formulation of the "Suntanning without Sun" has been exactly copied on the skin’s physiology. PROGRESS OF THE TREATMENT >> Scrub The "Marine Scrub" is carried on under water (Hydrotonic Shower or Hydromassage Bath) with the natural "Sea Mud Body Scrub" enriched with lithothamnium, i.e. tiny seaweed grains which carry |
out the needed mechanical scrubbing. Areas such as knees, elbows and
ankles, where the skin is thicker, are especially cared for. Ideally,
the sunless tanning product will be applied on a perfectly moisturized
skin. This is a prerequisite to get a perfectly homogeneous and more
intense colouring. >> Moisturize and protect To make the treatment a real pleasure and to have an optimal moisture level, a soft massage is then carried on on the areas that need treatment with a new product based on “derivates of charcoal” and enriched with seaweed and essential oils. The active properties of this product make the skin velvety-soft and give it a uniform, regular complexion. This softening operation will eventually help optimise the colouring of the skin and avoid the appearance of unsightly marks. >> Tan uniformly Once perfectly prepared, the sunless tanning product is applied "manually" in a professional and uniform way. skin one hour after its application
and reveals itself fully after 3 to 4 hours. FREQUENCY AND LEVEL OF PROTECTION The D.H.A molecule is absolutely harmless and does not provoke any intolerance. The treatment can thus be repeated without danger. A possible touching up in the case of a grainy skin is included in the price. However, this treatment must not be confused with a tanning that is “photo-induced” by the sunrays, which can be very dangerous indeed without adequate protection. Melanin reacts with the sunrays and colours the skin. It is therefore absolutely necessary to remain protected. The sunless tanning product does not protect the skin in case of exposure to the sun.
