Sandal
(Centella Asiatica)

It is a bush from the tropics, mostly found in India, in areas in the mid-mountains. Sandal essence is extracted from its wood. Its qualities are recognised by perfumers (warm and woody note ) and the sandal extracts contain sandal, farnesol and isoberneol well-known for their stimulating and whitening actions as far as complexion is concerned.
