Indian Chestnut

The Indian Chestnut tree is about fifteen metres tall and comes from Turkey. Its fruit, the Chestnut, contains a lot of tannin and flavones. It is thus astringent, vasoconstrictor and very toning for blood circulation. Chestnut floor is often used in cosmetics to stimulate blood micro circulation (redness, strengthening of tissues...)
